Our Engineering Process
We follow a rigorous process to ensure our electric tractors meet the highest standards of quality and performance
Define
The first step is to define the requirements for the electric self-driving tractors or any product that we plan to develop.
Design
Design includes creating 3D models and schematics of the tractor, selecting components such as the motor, battery, and sensors, and designing the autonomous driving system.
Develop
This involves building the physical components of the tractor, including the chassis, motor, battery, sensors, and autonomous driving system.
Test
This involves testing its performance in a variety of conditions, including different terrains, weather conditions, and driving scenarios.
Refine
Based on the test results, the design may need to be refined. This could involve adjusting the components, fine-tuning the software algorithms, or making changes to the user interface.
Manufacture
This includes setting up a manufacturing process, sourcing components, and developing a distribution network.

Our Journey
The evolution of AutoNxt from concept to market leader
Foundation
AutoNxt Automation Pvt. Ltd. was founded by Kaustubh Dhonde in Mumbai with a vision to revolutionize agriculture and industrial operations through electric and autonomous tractors. The goal was to make farming more sustainable, efficient, and technology-driven.
Research & Early Prototypes
The team began extensive R&D on high-torque electric powertrains and intelligent control systems. AutoNxt successfully built and tested early prototypes of electric tractors, proving the feasibility of replacing diesel engines with clean electric technology.
Innovation & Development
Building on early success, AutoNxt enhanced its prototypes with smarter vehicle control units and IoT-based monitoring. During this phase, the company also expanded its engineering team and strengthened its partnerships for component development and testing.
Validation & Certification
AutoNxt's electric tractors underwent rigorous performance and safety testing. They received necessary certifications from iCAT (International Centre for Automotive Technology), marking a crucial step toward large-scale production. The company finalized multiple tractor models, including 20 HP, 35 HP, and 45 HP variants.
Commercial Launch
AutoNxt officially launched its first electric tractor model – X45H2 – in Thane, Maharashtra. The first unit was delivered to Jaywant Sugars Ltd., symbolizing India's move toward sustainable farming machinery. This launch established AutoNxt as a pioneer in the country's electric tractor ecosystem.
Growth & Expansion
AutoNxt continues to expand its production capabilities and customer base across agricultural and industrial sectors. The company is advancing its work on autonomous driving features, smart connectivity, and next-generation battery systems, strengthening its vision of transforming the future of mobility in farming and beyond.
